Tango Specialty adding E&S division, hires Hiscox officers

Managing general agency Tango Specialty said Thursday it is introducing a professional lines division that will be headed by David Egosi, formerly head of professional risks at Hiscox USA.
The Stamford, Connecticut-based MGA said the division is dedicated to wholesale brokers’ demands for excess and surplus underwriting across a range of small and medium-sized sectors.
The statement said Mr. Egosi will be joined by former Hiscox USA partner Alicia Marsiglia, former Hiscox USA vice president Drew Kling and by John Schoerner, former professional lines practice leader at Alpharetta, Georgia-based Alpha Specialty Programs, a wholesale MGA that specializes in real estate developers, contractors and architects and engineer clients.
The statement said the core product suite will offer up to $5 million in capacity across various sectors, including allied health care, senior living, contractors, real estate, A&E, security guards and other miscellaneous professional services.
