Echo Re appoints Pablo Iparraguirre as Senior Underwriter LatAm & Caribbean

Echo Reinsurance Limited (Echo Re), a Swiss-based reinsurer, has recently appointed Pablo Andres Lugo Iparraguirre as its new Senior Underwriter for Latin America (LatAm) & Caribbean.

Bringing over 18 years of underwriting experience, particularly within the Caribbean market, Iparraguirre adds a wealth of expertise to Echo Re.

Prior to joining Echo Re, Iparraguirre spent nearly 13 years at Hannover Rück-Gruppe, where he most recently served as P&C Treaty Underwriter Caribbean.

Before that, he worked as an Underwriter at HDI Group DE for over 2 years.

Expressing his enthusiasm and gratitude for his new position, Iparraguirre stated, “I am very thankful for the warm welcome, the help and the trust I received in advance. My first 3 days were very nice, funny and interesting. I hope that I can contribute for good.”
