Chubb names new head of North America claims

Chubb Ltd. on Wednesday named Kevin Rampe head of its North America claims operation, succeeding Bill Hazelton, who is taking a new role focused on strategic initiatives.

Mr. Rampe, who was previously Chubb’s global deputy general counsel, will report to Mike Smith, senior vice president, Chubb Group, and group claims officer. He will be based in Jersey City, New Jersey.

As executive vice president, Mr. Hazelton, who is based in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, will report to John Lupica, vice chairman, Chubb Group, and president, North America insurance.
