BRP becomes The Baldwin Group to demonstrate cohesive structure

BRP Group has rebranded to the Baldwin Group to reportedly reflect its transformation, growth and integration.

The change is effective today, with the firm’s retail brokerage operations, which include the Insurance Advisory Solutions and Mainstreet Insurance Solutions operating segments, also anticipated to transition to The Baldwin Group brand in the coming months.

Meanwhile, brands within The Baldwin Group’s Underwriting, Capacity, and Technology Solutions (UCTS) segment, as well as Westwood Insurance Agency, will continue to maintain independent go-to-market brands.

Trevor Baldwin, Chief Executive Officer of The Baldwin Group, commented, “I am very excited to announce that BRP is now The Baldwin Group. For us, The Baldwin Group is more than just a new name.

In related news, back in October of 2023, The Baldwin Group announced the launch of Juniper Re, its new reinsurance broking platform,  led by former BMS Re Chief Property Officer Jeff Irvan.

Juniper Re was created to expand its breadth of capabilities and capitalise on a unique market opportunity, the company explained at the time.

In March of this year, Juniper Re received approval in principle from the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) to launch its Bermuda-domiciled subsidiary Juniper Re Bermuda, Ltd., which will be led by Chris Hayward as Head of Office.
