K2 Parametric Insurance Services adds Palms Specialty to carrier panel

K2 Parametric Insurance Services, LLC , a subsidiary of K2 Insurance Services and Palms Insurance, has announced that Palms Specialty will be providing capacity to support K2 Parametric’s program.

According to the announcement, under this partnership, K2 Parametric will be able to further increase their capacity offering for commercial Parametric Natural Catastrophe polices for US earthquake and hurricane risks to better align themselves with their clients’ expanding needs.

Carpinteri joined K2 in November 2021, which Reinsurance News reported then. He is a well-known veteran within the insurance space. He previously served at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions where he helped advance the progress and success of Parametric Insurance as a risk management tool.

In July 2022, K2 Parametric Insurance Services signed its first-capacity relationship with Homesite Underwriting Managers.
