Underwriting expert Torres to expand XPT Specialty’s personal insurance lines division

XPT Specialty, a wholesale broker for commercial and personal insurance, has announced the appointment of Suzette Torres as Vice President of Personal Lines, who joins the business to spearhead the growth for this line of products.

Torres’ addition, XPT Specialty stated, will help expand the company’s set of offerings for retail agencies selling specialty products like personal lines property, umbrellas, and other specific coverage needs.

The executive brings to her new role more than 15 years in the industry, having worked at top-tier wholesale insurance firms.

She has held prior leadership positions, including Managing Director at Burns & Wilcox, and Vice President, Underwriting Leader, and Senior Vice President at AmWINS Group.
