Mosaic Insurance bolsters global transactional tax-liability team with two key hires

Specialty insurer Mosaic Insurance has bolstered its global transactional tax-liability team by appointing two tax-risk specialists: Camille Zabukovec and Roktim Kaushik.

Zabukovec joined Mosaic’s London office as a Assistant Vice President, Tax Underwriter, supporting the transactional team on tax risks in jurisdictions outside North America.

Overall, she brings a solid level of tax-risk underwriting experience towards the role. In addition, she also previously worked as a tax attorney at a Paris-based firm, where she advised investment funds, insurance firms, and banks on tax-related aspects of domestic and cross-border transactions.

Meanwhile, in New York, Kaushik has joined Mosaic’s North America tax team, taking on the role of Vice President, Tax Americas.

Prior to joining Mosaic, he worked as a tax attorney with a Big Four accounting firm, where his practice mainly focused on cross-border transactions, which included mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and efficient tax structures for private equity funds.
