Zurich Singapore appoints Matt Graves as Chief Claims Officer

Zurich Singapore has appointed Matt Graves as its new Chief Claims Officer, reporting directly to Liam Burrell, Chief Executive Officer of Singapore and Head of Commercial Insurance Asia.

Graves’ remit will include an enterprise-wide responsibility for all claims functions across Zurich Singapore’s Commercial and newly launched Retail segment.

In his new role, Graves will also join Zurich Singapore’s Executive Committee, driving claims solutions in close collaboration with our customers and partners across the region, and ensuring a better, faster, and simpler end-to-end claims experience.

Graves has over two decades of experience in the insurance industry spanning roles with Allianz, Suncorp, and Zurich with deep expertise in claims management.

He joined Zurich in 2016 as the Team Leader for the Major Loss Property team, Australia, and most recently led Singapore’s Short-Tail Lines Claims business, overseeing all property, global energy, construction, and marine teams regionally.
