A. J. Gallagher acquires Texas-based Litchfield Special Risks

Risk Placement Services, Inc. (RPS), the US wholesale brokerage and binding authority and programs division of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., has acquired Litchfield Special Risks, Inc. (LSR). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
LSR, a wholesale insurance broker and managing general agency (MGA) based in El Paso, Texas, specialises in transportation and property/casualty solutions for retail agents in Texas and the Southwest US.
Bill Brenton, Chief Operation Officer, and his team will stay in their current location and will now report to Ash Thomas, VP-Western Region for RPS.
