Accretive hires chief underwriting officer from AmeriTrust

Accretive Insurance Solutions, a specialty wholesale and program administration company that is an AssuredPartners Inc. unit, said Monday that former AmeriTrust Insurance Group Inc. exec Fred Browning has been named its chief underwriting officer, a new position.

Mr. Browning was previously chief underwriting officer for AmeriTrust, where he was responsible for corporate underwriting for its companies, which consisted of admitted and excess and surplus lines insurers.

Lake Mary, Florida-based AssuredPartners announced Accretive’s organization in January.
