Acrisure acquires UK-based brokers

Acrisure LLC Tuesday said it has made two acquisitions in the U.K., Financial and Credit Insurance Services Ltd. and Global Broking Solutions Ltd.

FCIS is a specialist credit insurance broker and surety bond broker based in Sevenoaks, Kent, U.K., the statement said.

The two will join Acrisure’s southern England region managed by Sutton Winson Ltd., Acrisure’s largest U.K. acquisition to date, the broker said in a statement.

Global Broking Solutions allows Acrisure to acquire a client base and book of business spanning Kent and East Sussex to bolster Acrisure’s efforts to establish office locations in London, East Sussex and now Kent, the statement said.

Gareth Roberts, managing director, Sutton Winson, said in the statement the broker now has close to £70 million ($87.865 million) in gross written premium and expects to surpass £100 million within the next two years via organic and inorganic growth.
