Acrisure buys Scottish brokerage

Acrisure LLC said Wednesday it has bought Glasgow, Scotland-based brokerage Affinity Brokers Ltd.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Affinity has 10 employees and places commercial and personal lines coverage, with a specialty in jewelers block coverage.

Grand Rapids, Michigan-based Acrisure, which has rapidly grown via acquisitions into a Top 10 brokerage over the past 10 years, said in a statement that Affinity is its 11th purchase in the United Kingdom.
