Acrisure forms Great Lakes region

Acrisure LLC launched its Great Lakes region Monday as it continued the regional restructuring program it announced last year.

The region will encompass Acrisure brokerages in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio and will be led by Kelly Reed as managing partner. Previously, he was CEO of Marquette, Michigan-based VAST, which Acrisure bought in 2016.

Grand Rapids, Michigan-based Acrisure, which has purchased hundreds of smaller agencies over the past decade, announced last May that it would stamp all its operations with the Acrisure name. Previously, it allowed acquired companies to continue operating under their existing names.
