Acrisure hires former Aon Bermuda reinsurance leaders

Acrisure LLC said Tuesday it has hired former Aon executives Roman Romeo and Barry Gordon in its Bermuda reinsurance division.

Mr. Romeo was named head of Acrisure Re Bermuda, effective April 7. He will report to Michael Cross, president of Acrisure Re North America.

Previously, Mr. Romeo was CEO of Aon reinsurance solutions, Bermuda. Before joining Aon in 2022, he headed Axis Capital Ltd.’s North American property reinsurance business in Bermuda.

Mr. Gordon will be senior vice president, industry loss warranties, effective April 15, an Acrisure statement said. He will report to Mr. Romeo. Previously, he was vice president, ILW, at Aon.
