Acrisure Re hires cat modeling exec from Guy Carpenter

Acrisure Re, the reinsurance division of broker Acrisure LLC, on Tuesday named former Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC executive Ming Li as managing director and global head of catastrophe modeling, effective Jan. 18.

In the new role, Mr. Li will be based in New York and will report to Michael Cross, president of Acrisure Re North America.

Mr. Li was most recently a managing director at Guy Carpenter and has 20 years of catastrophe modeling experience in the property and casualty industry.
