AIG hires Bristlecone exec, also formerly of Marsh, WTW

American International Group Inc. on Monday said former Bristlecone Partners executive Don Bailey, who also had senior roles with Marsh LLC and Willis Towers Watson PLC, has joined the company as global head of distribution and field operations.

Mr. Bailey is based in New York and reports to Peter Zaffino, chairman and CEO, an AIG statement said.

Mr. Bailey was most recently a partner with Bristlecone Partners, a growth and human capital consultancy firm. Prior to that, Mr. Bailey served as president of global sales at Marsh. He also previously served as chairman and CEO of Willis Towers Watson North America, according to the statement.
