AIG hires strategy, ESG executive from KPMG

American International Group Inc. said late Tuesday that former KPMG LLP executive Constance Hunter will join the company in early 2022 as executive vice president, global head of strategy and environmental, social and corporate governance.

Ms. Hunter will report to Peter Zaffino, president and chief executive officer, and will join AIG’s executive leadership team, the statement said.

At KPMG, she was chief economist since 2013 and a member of the growth and strategy leadership team since 2020, the statement said.
