AIG promotes Ray Hall to head of Western World

American International Group Inc. Monday promoted Ray Hall to head of Western World Insurance Co., a subsidiary of Lexington Insurance Co., the surplus lines unit of AIG, effective immediately.

Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Mr. Hall will report directly to Lou Levinson, president and CEO of Lexington Insurance, an AIG company.

Mr. Hall will be responsible for Western World’s business in the contract bind market.

He joined AIG in 2020 as Western World’s national director.

Western World is an AIG company offering wholesale insurance in the contract bind property, casualty and garage segments.

Mr. Hall succeeds Tim Whisler, who left the company in January.
