Alera Group names Gary Piantedosi as President to drive strategic growth

Alera Group, an independent national insurance and financial services firm, recently announced the appointment of Gary Piantedosi as president.
Piantedosi, who has served as the managing director for Alera Group’s Northeast region since 2022, takes on this new role after driving notable revenue growth and operational success during his tenure.
In his new position, Piantedosi will oversee the firm’s regional managing directors and national practice leaders while leading strategic initiatives aimed at boosting Alera Group’s revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
This appointment marks a continued commitment by Alera Group to reshape the client experience through strategies and strong, trusted relationships.
“Gary has a proven track record of not only achieving growth but building teams that deliver exceptional client outcomes,” said Jim Blue, CEO of Alera Group.

With more than 35 years of industry experience, Piantedosi was the founder and principal of CBP, one of the original firms that merged to form Alera Group in 2017.
He was named managing director for the Northeast region in 2022, where he led consistent regional growth, broadened client offerings, and integrated advanced technologies to improve service delivery.
