Alera Group President Jim Blue to be elevated to CEO

Alera Group said Tuesday that Jim Blue, president, will become CEO on Jan. 1, 2025.

He will succeed Alan Levitz, who will become Alera Group’s executive chairman, effective Jan. 1.

Mr. Blue joined Alera Group in 2018 as president. He previously was CEO of Marsh & McLennan Agency-New England.

Alera Group is ranked 15th in Business Insurance’s list of the Top 100 brokers of U.S. business.
