Alera lands Lockton exec for operations role

Alera Group Inc. said Tuesday former Lockton Cos. Inc. executive Peter Caine joined the company as executive vice president, operations, effective Jan. 3.

Mr. Caine, based in Boston, will report to Chief Operating Officer William Corrigan, the Deerfield, Illinois-based brokerage said. In the new role, he will focus on organizational and growth activities in each region.

Mr. Caine previously served as chief operating officer of Lockton Midwest.
