Alexis Daniel to lead Everest Insurance Intl. aviation team

Industry veteran Alexis Daniel has joined Everest Insurance International, a division of Bermuda-based insurer and reinsurer Everest Group, Ltd., as Head of Aviation.

“We are excited to welcome Alexis DANIEL to Everest Insurance International® as Head of Aviation, Europe. With over 25 years of deep aviation experience, Alexis will be instrumental in elevating our aviation offering for the European market,” an Everest spokesperson stated.

Daniel is taking over his new role following over 13 years with AIG, where he most recently served as Head of Europe, Aerospace. Prior to that he held the position of West and South Europe Manager, Aerospace for close to five years.

Before AIG, Daniel was part of La Réunion Aérienne’s underwriting team as a Manager of aviation risks, following over four years as AGCS’ Manager, Aviation Products & Airports underwriting team. He also spent four years as an aviation underwriter with Assurances France Aviation.

Daniels joins Giles Coghlin as one of Everest Insurance International’s most recent hires. Joining the company from Aviva, Coghlin was appointed Head of Fine Art and Specie in early March.

Before Aviva, he spent over six years working in the same role at CNA Hardy, a specialist commercial insurance provider within the Lloyd’s and company markets.
