Alliant adds senior vice president from USI

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. on Tuesday said former USI Insurance Services LLC broker Tyler Akins has joined the broker as senior vice president in its Alliant Americas division.

Mr. Akins will provide insurance and risk management to a national client base. He is based in Nashville, Tennessee, in Alliant’s Southeast region, according to a statement from the broker.

He was most recently senior vice president in the transportation division for USI.

Irvine, California-based Alliant is the eighth-largest broker of U.S. business, according to the most recent Business Insurance rankings.
