Alliant buys captive manager focused on real estate

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. said Monday it has acquired Property Owners Protection Insurance Co. LLC, a Costa Mesa, California-based captive manager focused on the real estate sector.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Popic offers programs for owners and managers of multifamily and single-family residential portfolios.

Popic will become part of Alliant’s underwriting solutions division.
