Alliant hires former Aon executives

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. on Thursday named former Aon PLC executive Peter Johnson an executive vice president and managing director.

Based in Portland, Oregon, Mr. Johnson will provide risk management services for agribusiness clients across the country, an Alliant statement said.

In the newly created role, Mr. Johnson will report to Peter Arkley, president of Alliant Specialty.

Previously, Mr. Johnson was an executive vice president and resident managing director for Aon.

On Friday, Alliant announced the addition of two more executives from Aon’s Portland office: Amy Barlow, as a senior vice president in its agribusiness team; and Rob Doerfler, as a senior vice president in its forest products group.
