Alliant hires former Brown & Brown exec as VP of specialty unit

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. on Monday named Peter Kranz, former captive practice leader at Brown & Brown Inc., as senior vice president at Alliant Specialty.

Mr. Kranz, based in Burlington, Vermont, will lead Alliant’s risk finance and strategic consulting practice.

Mr. Kranz most recently served as executive managing director and captive and consulting practice leader at Brown & Brown where he had worked for 17 years. Prior to that he worked in public accounting.
