Alliant hires former USI exec to be SVP, Americas division

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. on Tuesday named former USI Insurance Services LLC executive William Lemos as senior vice president in its Alliant Americas division.

Based in Boston, Mr. Lemos will focus on designing insurance coverages for clients in Boston and the Northeast, an Alliant statement said.

Mr. Lemos was most recently vice president, property & casualty at USI. Prior to that, he was a managing director with Aon PLC.

Bob Bennetsen, Alliant executive vice president and senior managing director, said in the statement the move will bolster Alliant’s growth in the Northeast.
