Alliant names attorney for M&A group

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. said Monday that attorney James Chenoweth has joined its mergers and acquisitions group.
Alliant said Mr. Chenoweth, based in Houston, will specialize in providing tax, litigation and M&A risk solutions to private equity firms and corporate clients.
He was most recently a partner with Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP.
