Alliant Insurance Services Inc. Wednesday named Greg Zimmer as CEO, and Tom Corbett, long-time chief of the brokerage, was named executive chairman, effective April 1.
Mr. Zimmer joined Newport Beach, California-based Alliant in 1998 as chief financial officer. He was named president of the private-equity-owned company in 2007.
Mr. Corbett, currently CEO and chairman, joined Alliant in 1977 and has led the company for more than 30 years, overseeing its growth from a regional brokerage to the world’s ninth largest.
Alliant announced several other executive changes:
Ralph Hurst, who previously oversaw the company’s retail brokerage operations, was named president.
Peter Arkley will assume Mr. Hurst’s position of president, national brokerage. Currently, he is president, retail property and casualty.
Sean McConlogue will be president of Alliant Underwriting and Consumer Solutions, which combines the brokerage’s underwriting and consumer operations.
These changes also take effect April 1.
