Allianz announces regional heads of property, financial lines

Allianz Commercial announced Tuesday it promoted Nancy Dorvil to regional head of property, North America and Eric Wedin to regional head of financial lines, North America.

Ms. Dorvil was head of property, Canada and will succeed Jenise Klein, who was promoted in November to chief underwriting officer for North America. Ms. Dorvil is based in New York and will report to Ms. Klein. Ms. Dorvil joined Allianz in 2013 as an underwriter in the engineering line of business. She was promoted to head of property Canada in 2019.

Ms. Klein was named one of the Business Insurance Women to Watch in 2023.

Mr. Wedin was the regional head of commercial and financial institutions and succeeds Jarrod Schlesinger, who was promoted to global head of financial lines and cyber in November. Mr. Wedin is based in New York and will also report to Ms. Klein. He joined Allianz in 2023 and previously worked for Chubb Ltd. and American International Group Inc.
