Allianz UK and Sainsbury’s Bank sign new insurance partnership to broaden market access

Allianz UK, part of the financial services group Allianz SE, has signed a new insurance agreement with Sainsbury’s Bank as it looks to expand its reach in the UK retail insurance market.

Starting 1 November 2025, Allianz UK will provide replacement home and motor insurance policies to existing Sainsbury’s Bank customers through its group company, Liverpool Victoria Insurance Company Limited, as current policies come up for renewal.

The agreement reflects a shared emphasis on customer experience, digital efficiency, and straightforward service. It supports Allianz UK’s ongoing strategy to grow its distribution network and footprint in the retail insurance space.

This move follows a recent partnership with Volkswagen Financial Services UK and adds to Allianz’s portfolio of embedded insurance arrangements in the UK.
