Ametros names new CEO

Ametros Financial Corp. has named Porter Leslie as CEO, the workers compensation post-settlement administrator said in a statement Wednesday.

Mr. Leslie, who has served as president of the company since 2017, is succeeding Marques Torbert, who is departing to lead a new private equity firm dedicated to investing in Black-owned businesses. He will remain on Ametros’ board of directors and transition to the role of chairman.

Mr. Porter will be based at Ametros’ headquarters in Wilmington, Massachusetts.
