Amlin names former Swiss Re exec CEO

Reinsurer MS Amlin AG said Tuesday that Robert Wiest, former chief operating officer of reinsurance at Swiss Re Ltd., will join the company as CEO.
The announcement follows the departure earlier this month of former CEO Christopher Beazley.
Mr. Wiest joined Swiss Re in 1995 and was named COO of its reinsurance business in 2019.
He will join Zurich-based Amlin, a unit of Japanese insurer MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings, in January 2022, an Amlin statement said.
