Amwins to offer flood insurance program for golf courses

Amwins Group Inc. said Tuesday it would work with flood technology company Floodbase to offer their “Tees-to-Green” flood insurance program designed to reimburse U.S. golf courses for lost revenue and repair costs incurred when courses are flooded.

Minimum premium is $65,000 and average limits are $1 million to $7 million, according to an email from an Amwins spokesperson.

The program also offers parametric coverage structures.

The initial target exposure is golf courses in California, with plans to expand soon to other states, according to product information.
