Andrew George named president of Marsh Specialty

Marsh LLC Tuesday named Andrew George president of Marsh Specialty.
London-based Mr. George will report to Martin South, president and CEO, Marsh.
He will lead Marsh Specialty’s global business, including aviation; climate and sustainability; construction; credit specialties; energy and power; financial and professional lines, including cyber; marine and cargo; and private equity, mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. George joined Marsh in 1988 and previously was global head of Marsh’s energy and power practice.
John Donnelly, currently president, global placement, will report to Mr. South and relocate to New York in the coming months, Marsh said.
Mr. George and Mr. Donnelly will join the Marsh executive committee.
Pat Donnelly, previous president of Marsh Specialty and global placement, left the brokerage for Willis Towers Watson PLC in January.
