Aon PLC Tuesday named former Swiss Re executive Cole Mayer as leader of worldwide parametric initiatives.
Mr. Mayer will lead a team in North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific to deliver parametric products across reinsurance and commercial risk lines, as well as Aon Securities. He will be based in San Francisco and report to Paul Schultz, CEO of Aon Securities
Mr. Mayer joins Aon from reinsurer Swiss Re, where he was most recently senior vice president and senior structurer within its Innovative Risk Solutions division, an Aon statement said.
