Aon appoints Chris Knutson as Chief Claims Officer for Global Broking Centre

Global insurance and reinsurance broker Aon has announced the appointment of Chris Knutson as Chief Claims Officer, Global Broking Centre (GBC).

In this role, Knutson will lead more than 100 claims professionals dedicated to the London Market.

He will report to Tracy-Lee Kus, Head of GBC, and will also join the Global Claims Leadership team led by Mona Barnes, Chief Claims Officer, Commercial Risk Solutions.

Knutson joins Aon after more than 14 years at Marsh, where he most recently served as Claims Solutions – International Practice Leader. Prior to that, he spent eight years at Clifford Chance, serving as a Director.

Kus said, “Chris is a highly effective global claims leader with over 20 years of experience and expertise. Claims is core to our broking strategy, and we have no doubt that Chris will bring an innovative and client-centric approach to the role, ensuring we continue to deliver and enhance our client offering.”
