Aon appoints Emma Crookes as Global Head of the insurance vertical

Global insurance and reinsurance broker Aon has announced the appointment of Emma Crookes as Global Head of the insurance vertical.

The insurance vertical delivers Aon’s full range of capabilities to re/insurance clients, offering relevant insights and solutions to help them achieve their strategic goals and make better business decisions.

In her new role, Crookes will drive the development of Aon’s client leadership model, ensuring the firm’s capabilities are delivered to insurers in a coordinated and client-focused manner.

She will collaborate with over 20 segment teams across five regions to identify common trends among insurer segments, enabling deeper insights and more relevant solutions aligned with clients’ strategic objectives. Crookes will also join the global growth committee of Reinsurance Solutions to foster collaboration and drive results.

Crookes will work closely with Joe Peiser, CEO of Commercial Risk Solutions for Aon and executive sponsor of the insurance vertical, and Lambros Lambrou, CEO of Human Capital for Aon, to integrate the insurance vertical across all solution lines and regions.

Crookes has been with Aon for 11 years, most recently serving as the UK Insurance Vertical Leader and Enterprise Client Leader. Before joining Aon, she worked as an Insurance Broker at JLT Group.
