Aon combines UK, EMEA operations under Julie Page

Aon PLC said Thursday it will combine its United Kingdom and Europe, Middle East and Africa operations under Julie Page, with former EMEA head Eduardo Dávila leaving the company.

London-based Ms. Page was named CEO of Aon’s U.K. business in 2018, and Madrid-based Mr. Dávila was named CEO of EMEA in 2021.

Aon President Eric Andersen said in a statement the move was part of Aon’s recently announced restructuring plan, which is slated to save the company $350 million annually by 2026.

Ms. Page’s appointment is effective Nov. 15. She was named one of the Business Insurance Women to Watch in 2017.

Mr. Dávila will leave Aon at the end of the year, the statement said.
