Aon PLC said Tuesday it had hired Bhuma Patel, former Vantage Group Holdings Ltd. financial institutions head, as financial institutions industry leader for North America.
In addition, it named David Carlson, a former Marsh LLC managing director, global industrial and manufacturing leader.
Both positions are newly created, an Aon spokeswoman said.
Before joining Vantage in 2021, New York-based Ms. Patel worked in various underwriting roles at CNA Financial Corp., Axis Capital Holdings Ltd. and Ace Ltd.
Before joining Marsh in 2003, Minneapolis-based Mr. Carlson worked in risk management and safety for automotive manufacturers.
