Aon hires former MMA exec Denise Perlman

Aon PLC said Tuesday it hired former Marsh McLennan Agency executive Denise Perlman to lead its middle-market practice in North America, effective April 1.

New York-based Ms. Perlman will be CEO of middle market, North America, an Aon statement said. She will report to Lori Goltermann, CEO of regions and North America.

Ms. Perlman was previously president of the national business division at MMA, the small and midsized brokerage unit of Marsh LLC. She joined MMA in 2018 as executive vice president of business insurance and national partnerships after 11 years at Markel Corp.

Aon said Monday it hired former Marsh LLC construction insurance executives Rob McDonough and Brian Hodges.
