Aon merging facultative broking teams in Asia

Aon PLC said Friday it would combine the facultative reinsurance broking teams from Singapore and Asia Pacific to be led by Geoff Lambrou, who will be CEO, facultative, Asia Pacific.

Mr. Lambrou, based in Singapore, will be responsible for developing Asia Pacific facultative reinsurance growth together with Reinsurance Solutions’ country leadership teams.

He will report to George Attard, Asia Pacific CEO of Reinsurance Solutions in Singapore, and to Andrew Laing, Global CEO of Facultative for Reinsurance Solutions in London.

The combined Asia Pacific facultative reinsurance operation will allow a more coordinated approach to working with reinsurer partners and allow Aon to develop further opportunities in facultative reinsurance in the region, Aon said.
