Aon names execs in UK reinsurance restructuring

Aon PLC on Tuesday said Richard Wheeler and Tom Murray have been named co-leaders of Global Re Specialty in a restructuring of the broker’s U.K. reinsurance leadership.

They will be based in London along with Mark Skilton, chair of the team, with all three reporting to Rupert Moore, U.K. CEO for Reinsurance Solutions, Aon said in a statement.

The Global Re Specialty executive committee will include Fred Streeton, head of the specialty client segment; Anshuman Srivastava, head of the reinsurer client segment; and Ben Love, strategic growth leader; as well as Don Magee, U.K. chairman of Reinsurance Solutions; Jeremy Goodman, U.K. president, Reinsurance Solutions; and Rupert Moore, the statement said.

James Milne has been named head of U.K. and will lead a newly combined U.K. and Ireland property, casualty and motor business, the statement added.
