Aon names Lambros Lambrou chief strategy officer

Aon PLC Wednesday named longtime executive Lambros Lambrou chief strategy officer, with responsibility for overseeing connections between the brokerage and its middle-market unit NFP.

Mr. Lambrou, who was most recently CEO of human capital at Aon, has held various roles at the brokerage over more than 30 years, including heading its main brokerage business, its specialty business and its Australian business.

He will work closely with NFP CEO Doug Hammond, and both will report to Greg Case, president and CEO of Aon, the brokerage said in a statement.

Aon has initiated an “internal search” for Mr. Lambros’ successor as head of human capital, the statement said.
