Aon promotes Ollie Barcock to lead Aviation Reinsurance, Global ReSpecialty

Global insurance and reinsurance broking group Aon has appointed Ollie Barcock as the new Leader of Aviation Reinsurance for Global ReSpecialty, effective immediately.

Barcock will be based in London and report to Richard Wheeler, co-leader of Global ReSpecialty.

His remit in the role will include supporting the delivery of capital, customised data and analytics, and consultancy services to the firm’s aviation reinsurance clients.

This aims to help clients navigate a challenging period of change and dislocation in the aviation sector.

He will also collaborate with Aon’s Strategy and Technology Group, Capital Advisory, and MGA teams to bring the latest solutions and expertise to clients to shape better business decisions and drive their profitable growth objectives.

Barcock joined Aon in 2015 and has spent nearly a decade working within the broker’s aviation reinsurance practice, most recently as a Senior Broker.
