Aon recruits analytics leader

Aon PLC said Wednesday it has hired Sean Rider, a former risk analytics company executive and before that a Willis Towers Watson PLC leader, as head of advanced risk analytics for commercial risk in North America.

New York-based Mr. Rider was most recently head of strategic insurance solutions and chief revenue officer for One Concern Inc., a risk and climate analytics company.

Prior to joining One Concern in 2021, he was executive vice president, head of client development-North America risk and analytics at WTW.

He will report to Paul Shedden, global head of advanced risk analytics for risk capital, and Brian Wanat, head of commercial risk for North America.
