Aon restructures senior leadership team for US Financial Services Group

Global insurance and reinsurance broker Aon has restructured its senior leadership team for US Financial Services Group (FSG), appointing Anna Digel as Chief Broking Officer.

Collin Breeney and Joe Reynolds have also been promoted to co-leaders for the greater New York region, also for Aon’s US FSG.

These promotions follow Kary Trocchia’s appointment as leader of the East Region and Jay Sherwin’s new role as leader of the Mountain West region.

Sherwin is now responsible for Aon’s teams in Denver and Dallas, while also overseeing both insurance companies and insurance agents and broker-dealer errors and omissions operations.

In her new role, Digel will lead broking operations, and strategically collaborate with Aon Inpoint and Aon’s broking hubs in Bermuda and London. She will report to Tim Fletcher, Chief Executive Officer of Aon’s US FSG.

Breeney, who will report to Trocchia, has been tasked with overseeing the public company commercial team in New York, having joined Aon as an intern in 2013 before joining the FSG practice.

He career has seen him led teams and contributing to training and business growth in the New York region.

Reynolds will lead the public company financial institutions operations in New York and has been instrumental in building Aon’s financial institutions client portfolio during the past few years.

He joined Aon in 2007, previously leading the New York team, and will also report to Trocchia.
