Aon revamps US reinsurance leadership

Aon PLC Monday named Stephen Hofmann, U.S. CEO of reinsurance solutions, and Kevin Traetow, U.S. vice chairman of the unit.

The two executives have served as U.S. co-presidents of reinsurance solutions since 2021.

Mr. Hofmann, who is based in Chicago, has worked at Aon for 27 years, and Mr. Traetow, who is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, has been with the company for 25 years.

In the newly created roles, Mr. Hofmann and Mr. Traetow will continue to report to Andy Marcell, CEO of risk capital at Aon.
