Aon PLC unit NFP Corp. Wednesday said it has acquired Richard S. Miller & Sons Inc, which has five offices in northern and central Indiana.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Greg Miller, chairman of the brokerage, which does business as Miller Insurance Group, will join NFP as a senior vice president and report to Amanda Ruback, property/casualty managing director in NFP’s Central region, NFP said in a statement.
Miller co-owners Christian Barnes, Joe Stiles, Chad Miller and Ben Nehls will join as vice presidents and report to Mr. Miller.
Miller Insurance Group, founded in 1937, is headquartered in Bremen, Indiana, and has offices in Culver, Wakarusa, Indianapolis, and Plymouth. The broker has about 30 employees.
The acquisition continues NFP’s expansion in the state after acquiring Indianapolis-based First Person, an employee benefits brokerage firm, in 2021 and City Securities Insurance, a commercial property/casualty insurance consultant, in 2017, the statement said.
