Aon’s Jennifer Bell to retire as North America chief

Jennifer Bell has stepped down as CEO of Aon North America and will be executive chair of the business before retiring at the end of this year, the company announced Thursday.

Lori Goltermann, who was named CEO of regions for Aon in March, has taken on direct leadership of Aon’s North America region, effective immediately, the company said in a statement.

Ms. Bell joined Aon in 1991, worked as a marine broker and producer, and held various regional leadership roles before being named head of North America in 2021.

She was also a founding co-lead of Aon’s Global Inclusive Leadership Council.
